The National Fire Brigade, Italian Ministry of Interior, has once again assigned to European Air Crane Spa, parent company of JV the between EuAc / SIMA, the contract for the service and firefighting operations of two of the four Erickson S-64 Aircrane helicopters belonging to the state fleet.
The contract has a duration of 3 years starting from June 18, 2018 and also provides secondary service operations of aerial work, these operations will be in addition to the firefighting activities provided throughout the territory by the Fire Brigade on behalf of the Italian Civil Protection. European Air Crane has been successfully operating the Erickson S64 Helicopters on the Italian territory since 1998, providing the State, together with the fire service, all the maintenance support of these helicopters, thanks to its sister company SIMA Spa which has a maintenance facility on the, Tassignano airport ,in Lucca.
