2018 Firefighting Campaign begins

From June, the 2018 Firefighting summer Campaign has began; this year European Air Crane, in alignment with the new contract, operates 2 of the 4 Erickson S-64 helicopters of the National Fire Brigade, on two Italian bases. Comiso and Reggio Calabria the operational bases chosen by the Italian Civil Protection for the stationing of the two helicopter operated by EuAC; the two helicopters will therefore be present at the Sicilian and Calabrian airports until the end of September 2018.
